Jennie graduated with a B.A.in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in 2019. In 2021 she graduated with an MA in Tanz Interpretation from Folkwang UdK. Jennie has been working as a company dancer with the Folkwang Tanzstudio since 2021 and received the Folkwang Tanzpreis in 2021.
She has worked with choreographers including Rodolpho Leoni, Henrietta Horn, Thusnelda Mercy, Maya M. Carroll, Jakub Truszkowski, Renate Graziadei, Boris Charmatz, Morena Nascimento and has performed work by Pina Bausch.
Jennie created and performed solo works including ‘Being with, the Brandenburg concertos No.1’ 2022 and is currently working on ‘Being with - Part 2’ Supported by IG Tanz Essen and Tanzhaus NRW, and project ‘Happy Days’ with Sara Koluchova. She is a member of all female collective MassHysteria receiving the Innovation Award in 2019 and Supported by Arts Council England, 2020; working as dancer, choreographer and composing digital work for the screen including commissions for the V&A London and Dampfzentrale Bern.
She has also performed in various improvisation performances, including with the E-MEX and PART ensemble’s and classical musicians.
She holds a Diploma in Dance Education in Cecchetti Ballet, is a member of the Cecchetti Associates Committee and has taught improvisation on the BA at Folkwang UDK. She has also worked as a performer and model for visual artists including Anna Perach and Roxy Herve.
